Momitch!

Woman need to have it all. Gone are the days when woman can stay home and just take care of children. Gone are the baby boomers who entered the workforce and never looked back. We are the "everything" generation. We want/need a successful careers, loving marriages, adorable children and rocking bodies. In 1919, woman were granted the right to vote in the United States: a triumph. In 2009, Hillary Clinton was a candidate for presidency: a new day.

My mother worked her whole life, she woke up at 5am, worked for a few hours, drove us to school, went to work, came home, did our homework, put us to bed, went swimming for a while, came home and fell asleep. She was the "everything" generation. She made time for it all. Failure was never an option.

The homemaking mommy and the business bitch have become one: momitch! From Tina Fey to Sarah Palin, woman can and must accomplish everything. Each side informing the other. Woman breast feed as they finish that deposition. They go to spin class and catch up on the latest crises overseas. They can change a diaper while skyping with their bosses. They go to the Oscars and come home and tuck seven children into bed. Multitasking is as normal as making coffee. With advancements in technology, you can plan the next six months of your life in a matter of minutes. And all I can say is: I think everyone wants it all. So let's keep going and going and going and going and going until our heads fall off. You go girls!
